AAIA Segments:
(All AAIA member companies select a segment that represents their specific area of interest within the automotive aftermarket.)

  Auto International Association (AIA) – promotes global trade by providing a bridge between the international automotive community and the North American aftermarket.

 

 
The Automotive Retail Segment (RETAIL) - creates and implements initiatives that aid members involved in the retail automotive aftermarket.
  Automotive Electric Association (AEA) – supports distributors, manufacturers and others engaged in the sales and service of starting, charging, lighting,
instrumentation, and related components.
  Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) – serves distributors and their respective suppliers of hard parts, accessories, tools and other supplies for the automotive aftermarket.
  Engine Repower Council (ERC) – exists to create awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of rebuilt and remanufactured engines to extend vehicle life.
  Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA) – serves aftermarket distributors and manufacturers of parts and services for heavy duty and commercial vehicles in North America.
Paint, Body & Equipment Specialists (PBES) – represents the PBE industry’s leading jobbers, warehouse distributors, manufacturers, business services, and manufacturers’ representatives.
  Tool & Equipment Segment (TOOL) – works with manufacturers and distributors who specialize in providing tools and equipment needed to perform repair and maintenance services in the motor vehicle aftermarket.
Trim Segment (TRIM) – serves companies that manufacture or distribute interior and exterior fabrics, associated hardware and products used in the repair or restoration of cars, trucks, boats and aircraft.

AAIA Communities:
(Elective communities of like-minded individuals whose employers are members of AAIA.)
  National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) - is the only professional organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of automotive aftermarket catalog managers.
  Leadership Development Network (LDN) – provides networking and mentoring opportunities for individuals new to the automotive aftermarket.
  Manufacturers’ Representatives Council - advises AAIA on issues affecting manufacturers’ reps that serve the aftermarket.
