"The Current Hybrid State of Affairs:" Education Session Scheduled for AAPEX 2008

BETHESDA, MD – Oct. 14, 2008 – AAPEX attendees will get an in depth look at hybrid gas or diesel/electric motor vehicles, during an educational program presented by Craig Van Batenburg, Automotive Career Development Center (ACDC), entitled, "The Current Hybrid State of Affairs." The session will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Sands Expo Center in rooms 301/302.

Van Batenburg has been driving, servicing, repairing and educating repair professionals for more than eight years. He is a technical journalist, former repair shop owner and CEO of ACDC based in Massachusetts.   

Attendees will learn:

  • What tools and equipment are required for hybrid service and repair.
  • Service and repair opportunities for Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan and Honda hybrids. 
  • Misunderstood technical service issues for all hybrids on the road today.

This session is recommended for repair professionals, but should be of interest to all aftermarket audiences.

All AAIA educational sessions at AAPEX are approved by the University of the Aftermarket for CEU credit toward the AAP and MAAP certificates.
